Seville is one of the most beautiful cities of Andalusia and there´s no doubt about that. The city is also considered one of the most hectic destinations in all Spain. Today we will discover this beautiful city and give you some advices to make sure your trip there will be as rewarding as possible.

Historic heritage of priceless richness

Seville has a rich history due to the influence of  Christian and Muslim cultures. You can see the heritage of both cultures in the amazing buildings, constructions and historic places, some of them considered historic heritage by Unesco.

You´ll appreciate the walks around the city that will make you discover the narrow streets and the historical center of Seville. We also recommend you ride your bike because the city has more than 100 kilometers of bike paths. It is a very pleasant and healthy way to enjoy the landscapes!

Among the many monuments to see in Seville, we have selected for you the 3 most popular ones that you cannot miss:

  • The Plaza del Triunfo, in the heart of Seville. It symbolizes Spain welcoming its former American colonies.
  • The Royal Alcazar and its gardens, a surprising and beautiful place.
  • The Cathedral of Seville, which offers a panoramic view of Seville at the top of the Giralda Tower

Flamenco, Seville´s folk dance

The soul of Seville is found particularly in the dance, due to the fact that Seville is one of the cradles of flamenco. This enchanting dance is part of the Spanish culture. You will also find in Seville the Flamenco Museum, a perfect place to familiarize yourself with the history and customs of flamenco.

Seville offers many places to enjoy flamenco shows, especially the “tablaos” – performance halls dedicated to it. Live concerts with guitar players, singers and dancers who interpret the different styles of this dance.

Seville Tapas

As in all of Spain, tapas are a representative dish of spanish gastronomy. A mixture of tastes and flavors that will satisfy your palate! You can share many dishes or cassolettes with your friends and drink a beer or a Spanish wine. Below you can see some delicious tapas being served! This is an economical and typical option and you just HAVE to taste it!
