Los Pericos: 30 years of intimacy under the photographic lens of its members

The pioneer band of Ska and Argentine reggae Los Pericos is celebrating their 30 years of artistic career, and to celebrate it they are having a photographic sample at the Usina del Arte in the city of Buenos Aires.
“Pericos x Pericos” is the sample cured by the band itself that delves us into the most intimate details and expresses a unique story in 1200 personal photos in which you can see from the first image that was taken from the band by the singer original, Danny Boy.
The theme is also broad in it you will find the musicians, their assistants, the tours, backstages, as they slept on the floor of some airport and even the assistance to famous programs of television like Xuxa in the nineties.
In addition, it has an exhibition of “memorabilia perica” ​​of all times (t-shirts, tines, cassettes, credentials and posters).
This event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires and thanks to the technology the tour can be carried out with the cell phone in hand, downloading an application that when bringing your cell phone to certain images will allow you to listen to the musicians’ account of that moment. In addition, a documentary specially prepared by drummer Ariel “Topo” Raiman finishes putting in context the avalanche of photos.
So if you are a fan of this band that debuted in December 1986 in a forgotten  Martinez  cafe and thanks to a demo became a furor, you cannot miss the oporrtunity of visiting the Labyrinth Room of the Art Factory (Cafarena 1, in the neighborhood of La Boca) from Tuesday to Thursday from 2 pm to 7 pm, on Fridays from 12 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 am to 9 pm.
The entrance is completely free and you have until September 24 to enjoy it. Do not miss it!
